PrivateAlps operates under the jurisdiction of the Swiss Confederation, and all content and activities that are permissible under Swiss law are generally acceptable on our infrastructure.

However, in order to maintain service integrity, network stability, and legal compliance, we enforce the following prohibited usage list:

  • outgoing E-mail spam or anything that will upset Spamhaus
  • hosting, distribution, or promotion of child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • illegal drug or weapons sales, or related content
  • involvement in terrorist activities or the promotion of hate speech in any form
  • involvement in any activity that results in the blacklisting of our IPs by organizations such as Spamhaus
  • use of our infrastructure as a source of Denial of Service (DoS) or Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks
  • activity that disrupts, interferes with, or negatively impacts the performance or stability of our infrastructure or other clients
  • hosting, distribution, or facilitation of phishing content

We take no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the traffic nor the activities (legal or illegal).

Jurisdiction and Responsibility

PrivateAlps is an offshore service provider and respects the privacy and autonomy of its clients. We do not monitor client traffic or activities. However:

We reserve the right to take immediate action in case of abuse complaints, law enforcement requests under Swiss law, or activity that endangers our network or business operations.

We take no responsibility for the nature of traffic or activities (legal or illegal) carried out through client services. All liability remains with the account holder.

Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of our infrastructure complies with all applicable laws and does not put PrivateAlps or its network at risk.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in suspension or termination of the affected services without prior notice, particularly if they threaten the operational integrity of the network or other clients. We strongly recommend all clients to maintain good operational practices and secure configurations on their systems.
